E-liquid, e-juice, vape juice all refer to the same thing. The e-liquid itself is simply the liquid that is converted into vapor by an e-cig device. Different types of vaping require different types of vape juice.
COMPONENTS OF E-LIQUIDS

- Propylene Glycol (PG)
Propylene Glycol (PG) is known as a carrier base. This means that along with Vegetable Glycerine, it carries the nicotine and flavor into vapor when the heat is applied to the liquid. It is an organic compound and has no color or odor and is completely tasteless.
- Vegetable Glycerine (VG)
Vegetable Glycerine (VG) is the second of the two carrier bases. It is colorless, tasteless, and odorless and has a higher viscosity than Propylene Glycol. VG is very less effective at carrying nicotine and flavorings, but it has a higher vapor production than PG. Manufacturers use different ratios of VG and PG to achieve results in their liquids. If there is a higher proportion of VG then the more vapor will be produced.
- Food Flavorings
Flavorings used should be food grade and fall into three categories;
- Natural Flavorings
They are made from the plant or animal raw material and are used in their natural state or are processed for human consumption.
- Nature-Identical Flavorings
They are extracted from natural materials and cannot be created through the use of chemicals. This type of flavorings has the same chemical compounds as natural flavors are synthesized chemically from whatever is the cheapest and easiest source.
- Artificial Flavoring
These flavorings are created in laboratories to imitate or enhance natural flavors.
Nicotine is one of the major components but absent in Zero Nicotine or Nicotine free e-cigarettes. It is clear and virtually colorless and the only active ingredients in e-liquids. After dissolving into the bloodstream it travels to the brain and stimulates the adrenal gland to produce adrenaline. Nicotine is naturally available in tobacco but can also be synthetically created.
